    Share Account Rates

    The following are rates for Regular Shares, Secondary Savings and Kirby Kangaroo Accounts. Rates effective for the month ending March 31, 2023.

    $250.00 to $999.99 0.10% 0.05% – 0.09%
    $1000.00 to $2499.99 0.12% 0.09% – 0.11%
    $2500.00 and over 0.15% 0.11% – 0.15%

    This is a variable tiered rate account, however currently all tiers are earning the same rate of .03% which means if a member has an average daily balance of $5000 for the month, the entire balance earns .03%. The APY (annual percentage yield) will be 0.03%.  If an account is closed before the end of the month, all dividends are forfeited. Dividends on all accounts are paid on the last day of the month.  Secondary savings accounts have withdrawal restrictions.

    IRA Shares
    This is a variable rate account. If an account is closed before the end of the month, all dividends are forfeited. Dividends on all accounts are paid on the last day of the month.    		 0.15% 0.15%
    Christmas Club Accounts
    This is a variable rate account. If withdrawal is made between October 1st and September 30th, the account will be closed and all dividends forfeited. Dividends will be paid annually on September 30th and all funds in the account will be transferred to the regular savings account on October 1st.    		 0.12% 0.12%

    Money market accounts require a $2,500.00 minimum balance. The account is limited to three withdrawals per month. This is a variable tiered rate account. Dividends will be paid on the last day of the month.

    Dividends will be compounded quarterly and credited to certificate account. Alternatively, dividends may be paid to member or credited to another account. APY is based on the assumption that dividends will remain in the account until maturity. Dividends are reported to the IRS as earned in the year in which they are credited or paid.
